High quality efficient A-rated windows.
The BFRC and the Window Energy Ratings Initiative
The Scheme is the UK's national system for rating the energy efficiency of windows. It is recognised within the Building Regulations and as such, is a valid method of showing compliance of your replacement window installation with
document L.
Window Energy Ratings use a consumer-friendly traffic light style A-E ratings guide, which is very similar
to the system used for rating the energy efficiency of white goods within the home (items such as fridges, freezers and washing machines). can be used by consumers to make a more informed decision about the of the windows they are looking to purchase.
At Truframe, we are proud to announce that we can offer a full range of BFRC energy rated windows for our 70mm casement suite.
All windows come complete with permanent frame marking, window labelling and homeowner certificates to go into the consumer's home information pack (HIP).

The BFRC and the Window Energy Ratings Initiative
Energy Saving Recommended is an initiative from the Energy Saving Trust backed by the Government. If you see the Energy Saving Recommended logo you can be sure that the product is particularly energy efficient. Again, you may be more familiar with seeing the energy savings trust logo on white goods.
At Truframe, all of our BFRC Energy Rated windows are Energy Saving Recommended as standard.
For more information about the Energy Saving Recommended scheme, see the Energy Saving Trust website.
