What brought you to TruFrame?

I started working with TruFrame in 2019 when I took over at QBD. At the time we were still hand-writing and faxing orders through to suppliers, so I was looking to modernise the business and wanted a supplier who could help me with this.

The main thing that attracted me to TruFrame was their Customer Portal, which allows me to place and track all my orders online. This has been a game changer for us and a massive factor in the success of our business; it just makes the operational side far superior.

The second thing that appealed was the marketing support. We get access to their in-house marketing team who help us with whatever we need - in fact they’re just putting a promotional letter together for us at the moment, free of charge. They’ve also introduced us to their digital marketing partner Atomic Media, who have built us a professional website and handle all our on-line marketing, which brings us a lot of new leads each month.

How has TruFrame helped you?

TruFrame have helped me to quadruple the size of my business in just 3 years! That is down to a combination of factors. It’s not just their products, it’s the support behind it. They understand that by supporting us and helping us promote ourselves, we’ll do so much better than if we were just doing it on our own.

Between our Sales Manager Kris, the customer services team and the technical team, we’ve felt really well looked after. Kris is a great guy and is always happy to pay us a visit if we need to speak to him. He is a good liaison. Sometimes you can’t explain things easily over the phone and you just need that personal touch - so knowing Kris will come to see us when we need him is really great and gets things sorted quickly.

I’ve been particularly impressed with their technical team as well. If you ever need technical help they are always on hand to give you an answer or get the information you need…and 99% of the time, they’ll get it to you almost instantly.

But I’d say the biggest help for us is the Customer Portal. It gives us all the information we need about our orders, straight away. It’s so helpful - you can just go in and look at all your orders, past and present. You can see all of your order details in full and you can track deliveries from dispatch to arrival. For instance, tomorrow it tells me exactly how many frames etc are coming. So all that information helps me to provide my customers with accurate information, which is all anyone wants. The worst thing in this industry is not being able to give people an answer; but having access to that information is invaluable.

What’s the best thing about working with TruFrame?

For me, the best thing about working with TruFrame has been the Customer Portal and being able to place all our orders online, combined with the marketing support and QuoteBuilder, which have helped massively with bringing in new leads.
